  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • Pita bread, for serving
  • Tzatziki sauce, for serving
  • Fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions), for serving

Step 1: Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup olive oil, 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 tablespoon dried oregano, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

Step 2: Marinate the Chicken

Add the cubed chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
